About the event

Whether you are a long-time activist or new to social justice this series may be for you.

Tantric practices are diverse and multifaceted. Join Kendra Coupland through an exploration of yogic practices rooted in Tantric tradition aimed at not only supporting activists but also helping them to build the resilience necessary to sustain their activism over an extended period of time.

Utilizing teachings from sacred texts The Yoga Sutras of Patañjali (aphorisms on the teachings of yoga), The Pratyabhijñāhṛdayam ('The Heart of Self-Recognition'), and the Sri Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra. ('Sacred Wisdom of the Fiercely Expansive, Liberating Consciousness') we will dive into self-care practices that support collective wellbeing.

The series will take place over 6 weeks from May 19th- June 26th, every Sunday & Wednesday evening from 7PM - 8:30PM PST

Each 90-minute class will contain a lesson component as well as time to practice each of the techniques.

Classes are recorded and uploaded & accessible to registrants for 30 days following the series.

Practitioners will cultivate diverse tools to support both their inner and outer work including:

  • Movement & somatic practices
  • Breathwork
