About the event
What: This Dark Before the Dawn gathering is an invitation for Black folks to slow down, rest and reconnect with ourselves and each other.
Where: Private Residence, Como Lake area, Coquitlam BC (address will be sent to registrants ahead of the event) When: Saturday, Jul 18, 2026 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Cost: This event costs approximately $450 to organize and host. We invite community members to contribute $25 or more to help support the gathering. Additional contributions help make the event accessible for those who may not be able to afford the full amount, so we encourage generosity where possible.
