About the event
This six-week online meditation series invites participants into a gentle exploration of awareness and self-recognition. Through guided meditation, insightful lessons, and self-reflective journaling, we will learn to stay present and observe ourselves with curiosity and care.
The practices in this course are short, simple and accessible, designed for people who consider themselves "bad at meditation". Each session includes guided 30 minute meditation, a short teaching, and reflective prompts to help participants explore and integrate their own experience. The contemplative practices in this series are inspired by the nondual philosophies of Kashmir Shaivism. In this tradition, the word Pratyabhijñā (prat-yuh-bhi-jnyah) means “to know again”, and refers to the recognition of our own awareness as something already present and fundamental.
